ANAM CITY HEALTH CENTER   Anam NG

The Anam New City project is an experimental model for site-specific African development, integrating urban densities of opportunity with rural strategies for productive landscapes through a hybrid RURBAN framework. At the heart of Anam New City is a comprehensive network of programmatic nodes designed to meet the social, economic, educational, and ecological needs of the community:

The Health Node / Hospital Provides accessible health care to the local population. The design intent prioritizes resilient, low-carbon, and culturally-informed architecture and landscape systems. Buildings and infrastructure are conceived to minimize environmental impact while supporting social, economic, and ecological goals. Overall, Anam New City demonstrates how integrated design-build strategies, culturally-grounded planning, and low-carbon construction can transform a rural community into a productive, resilient, and socially cohesive urban-rural hybrid. The project foregrounds the essential program elements—education, health, housing, agriculture, commerce, and civic spaces—while ensuring that infrastructure, ecology, and social systems reinforce each other to sustain long-term growth, environmental stewardship, and community well-being.
